(Excerpt...Shaman series)
All that is, is magic.
Magic surrounds us, is imbued within all we do, who we are, what we know with our senses, that which we're not quite sure of with our brains.
From the sounds that fill our ears, to the colors that dance before our eyes, to the foods that entice our tongues, to the textures that intrigue us, to the scents that beguile us.
All. Is. Magic.
But...not everyone sees it, senses it, feels it. And fewer still take the time to interact with it. Anyone can intereact with magic...and everyone does interact with it on a daily basis. It is who we are. We are a part of the magic and the magic is us. But interacting with it knowingly...ah! That is the trick!
The first breath you take in the morning, as sleep recedes, that awareness of being alive...
That is magic.
The scent of freshly ground coffee, or newly wet earth, or a sleeping baby...
That is magic.
The rushing sound of a waterfall, the deep laughter of friends, the shush of newly falling snow...
That is magic.
So, why don't more people interact mindfully, knowingly?
So, why don't more people interact mindfully, knowingly?
Because it takes effort. It takes a willingness to stand with the darkest parts of your own being and see that is also a part of the magic.
Because not all of the magic that makes up who we are is beauty and creation and kindness. Some of it is cruel and desctructive and selfish. But being able to access all of those threads gives a Shaman the abiiity to reWeave split Patterns. It allows them to see to the true area of need and mend fully...and not just on the surface.
It takes courage to meet yourself fully.
And you must meet yourself fully--all aspects of you--to gain true Mastery of Weaving, or Singing, or Dancing. Your chosen path will Sing, Dance, and Weave you, as much as you do it.
