Experimental Gratitude

A new year has begun, complete with all of the "new year, new me", "make 2019 your best year yet", and "out with the old, in with the new" hype that always comes around this time of year.

I am starting an experiment. It is much like the "month of giving thanks" that people do in November. But, I am going to try it for an entire year. (Try being the operative word...). Each day, I am going to list something that I am grateful for. Along with it, I am going to list one thing that I found beauty in. My goal is to not do any repeats. We'll see what happens. And we'll see if I can post something every day. There may be some times that I have to list several days in a row (like today...I'm not posting this until January 3, 2019, so I'm already behind!) but I will try to make a point of pausing each day and reflecting on something I'm grateful for and something I find/see beauty in.

It will all be posted on this blog post. We'll see what transpires!
